(D2OL) is actually two programs that work together:
the Engine and the Agent. The Engine runs silently
in your system tray.
|
| |
The Agent runs like a normal window in your task bar.
|
| |
The Engine tests drug Candidates and reports Conformers.
The Agent displays the current Candidate and Conformers
as they are analyzed. When you start , either from
the start menu or from a shortcut on your desktop,
both the Engine and Agent programs are launched. Because
the Engine is a separate program, you can close the
Agent and the Engine will continue to function normally.
|
| |
IMPORTANT: When you close the Agent window, then Engine
will continue to run in the system tray. If you want
to open the Agent window again, double click on the
(D2OL) icon
in the system tray. DO NOT re-launch (D2OL)
from the Start menu if you see the (D2OL) icon
in the system tray. Doing so will cause multiple Engines
to run at once and this behavior is not supported.
Please do so only if you do not see the (D2OL)
icon in the system tray.
|
| |
Controlling Tasks.
Even though (D2OL) tasks are designed to use
only your extra computing resources, you may choose
to suspend the Engine's current task. When the Engine
is suspended the system tray icon will change from
to
and the current Target will stop rotating. You may
resume tasks at any time.
|
| |
Exiting.
To exit (D2OL) , right click on the system
tray icon
and choose Exit. You will know that the Engine has
exited when you no longer see
in the system tray.
